Rope Access and High Angle Rescue Reference Book
The Rope Access and High Angle Rescue Reference Book and Visual Materials is an Android application that provides a comprehensive reference book and visual materials for rope access and high angle rescue. It is developed by Anton Yuriev and is available for free.
The current version of the application includes a mechanical advantage systems reference book, a deviation simulator that shows the value and direction of the force acting on the deviation depending on the rope angle and load, and a Y-hang simulator that shows the acting forces depending on the configuration of attachment and load. The application is extended by free updates.
The Pro version of the application includes a mechanical advantage systems builder that allows you to construct mechanical advantage systems used in rope access and high angle rescue. It also allows you to analyze gain, friction loss, devices, and anchor loads. Additionally, it includes a Tyrolean simulation that allows you to estimate acting forces depending on the rope sag and load.
